More and more sources, including La Gazzetta dell Sport, are reporting of an imminent agreement between Fiorentina and Antonio Rosati, the Napoli reserve keeper. Rosati is under contract with the Neapolitan side, but is expected to dissolve his contract (with Napoli's consent) this weekend in order to sign for la Viola on Monday.

The ex-Lecce number one was briefly the Fiorentina second goaltender last season in the spring, making one appearance as a starter in the final game of the season, the wild match against Torino featuring Alessio Cerci missing a crucial penalty kick at the death.

The 31 year old's imminent signing is further confirmation of Norberto Neto falling out of the squad in the aftermath of refusing to sign a new deal with Fiorentina. Hopefully Rosati will bring a familiar, calm, and focused voice to the dressing room in the wake of recent turmoil.
