It was probably just a matter of time before something like this happened - Fiorentina have lost yet another attacking player. After Giuseppe Rossi, Mario Gomez and Federico Bernardeschi, it is time for Khouma El Babacar. The Senegalese had to leave the training today, after feeling pain in his right thigh. The problem is the flexor muscle, but it is not yet known how long will the young forward have to pause. Babacar will undergo medical tests tomorrow to see how serious the injury is, but for now, it is certain that he will miss the Europa League game against Dinamo Minsk.

Rumors about Fiorentina being in market for a forward in January are surely to be intensified after this. Whether it will be Sebastian Giovinco, who's being mentioned a lot recently, or someone else remains to be seen, but as it stands now, the viola only have one striker, Mario Gomez, and his yet to find his form. Plus... he is kind of injury prone.
There are some good news today, though. Il capitano Manuel Pasqual has recovered from his injury, coincidentally, also a distortion to the right thigh. It was thought that he wouldn't be back before January, but instead, he might be ready for the game on Thursday already.
