Montella is going as usual for a defensive setup that has worked in keeping a clean sheet in four matches out of seven. Neto stands between the posts behind center defenders Savic and Gonzalo. The right and left sides of the back line will be filled by Tomovic and Alonso respectively.

Montella's difficulty is always the middle, who to start and how to position his choices. Montella selected Aquilani for the deeper midfield role over Badelj.
