Despite numerous injuries both at the back and in attack, Vincenzo Montella managed to keep us guessing again ahead of this Europa League tie. In the end, the Fiorentina attack is a return to the 4-3-3 with Federico Bernardeschi getting his first senior start for Fiorentina, likely on the right of the attacking trident. Tatarusanu confirms his status as the "cup goalkeeper" for now, but he sits behind a much changed defense, since Gonzalo Rodriguez and Stefan Savic have remained in Florence because of minor fitness issues. Micah Richards and Manuel Pasqual will therefore negotiate the flanks, perhaps to the delight of Nenad Tomovic, who can return to central defense alongside Jose Maria Basanta.

Borja Valero is another surprise inclusion, as many thought he would sit out on the balance of form and fitness, and maybe return against Inter on Sunday. Perhaps Montella is hoping he can get a really good and consistent 90 minutes in ahead of the big home game this weekend. Alberto Aquilani and Milan Badelj complete the midfield three.

As far as Dinamo Minsk are concerned, their recent record (matches and injury) is just as ugly as Fiorentina's: they are missing four players due to injury and one to suspension while being winless in 4. The midfield danger man is Stasevich, who will lineup on the left of attacking midfield.
