International competition continues this week and next as several players are off around the world.

World Cup Qualifying

Europe

European qualifying continues Friday and Tuesday.

Montenegro
Stevan Jovetic and Stefan Savic have been called up by Montenegro Head Coach Branko Brnović for the start of WC qualifying group play. Montenegro are in Group H along with England, Ukraine, Poland, Moldova and San Marino and currently lead the group, although they are tied with England and Poland with 4 pts. Montenegro holds the goal differential lead with +6.

Montenegro and Poland do not play on Friday, England host San Marino and look likely to take the group lead, Ukraine play at Moldova and should get the three points, so there could be a three way tie for second place after Friday.

On Tuesday, Poland host England and Montenegro travel to Ukraine.

Serbia
Nenad Tomovic has been called up, but will likely sit on the bench in favor of ex-Viola Nastasic. Serbia lead their group, although they also are in a three way tie, with Belgium and Croatia and only hold the advantage by goal diff.

Serbia will host Belgium on Friday and travel to Macedonia on Tuesday. While Croatia travel to Macedonia and host Wales, Belgium hosts Scotland on Tuesday.

Italy
Only Emiliano Viviano has been called up by Prandelli and he doesn't look to get any playing time. Italy lead group 2 by goal diff., tied with Bulgaria with 4 points, while Armenia is right behind with 3 pts.

Italy will travel to Armenia Friday, while Bulgaria hosts Denmark, who have 1 point. The Czech Republic, also with 1 point, will travel to Malta, who are bottom table with zero points. On Tuesday, Italy will host Denmark while Bulgaria travels to the Czechs. The other two teams are off.

South America

Colombia
Juan Cuadrado will be playing one match with second place Colombia as they host last place Paraguay.

Chile
Matias Fernandez, sporting the Captain's Armband for Chile will play in two matches, at third place Ecuador on Friday and hosting group leaders Argentina on Tuesday. Matigol will be likely to play all minutes in both matches and will probably not be available for Fior's next match.

Other Matches

Egypt
Ahmed Hegazy will be in two friendlies with Egypt, Iran and Tunisia.

Switzerland
Haris Seferovic has been called up for a home and away tie against Germany to qualify for the Under-21 European Championships.
