For me, this was the best possible scenario.
I don't want to underestimate Sporting, but, my most recent memory involving them is a CL quarterfinal in wich Bayern put twelve goals past them. I say we are 80% through. If i'm not mistaken, we play the second leg at home and that's an important advantage. Now let's hope Corvino will buy a quality central defender and a right-back and, all the sudden, the season looks promising.
