Tomorrow at the Artemio Franchi, Fiorentina will take on Lazio in a crucial Series A clash. Fiorentina is coming off a disappointing road loss to Napoli, while Lazio just beat mega-rivals Roma in a classic derby clash.
Unfortunately, this preview will be brief, as we are having a very busy holiday weekend. I may not even be able to catch the match, although I will certainly try. Very briefly, then, here are the things to keep in mind as we look towards the match:
• How will Lazio play after their thrilling win midweek? Will there be a letdown? And will the Viola be able to get back on track at home? The boys have been great when playing in Florence this season.
• These clubs know each other very well. They’ve already played once in the league and two legs in the Italian Cup.
• It looks like the Great Man will start a front line of Mutu, Pazzini and Papa Waigo; the first time we will have seen the three of them together. I, for one, am very much looking forward to it.
• Finally, we all know the position in the table; Fiorentina is four points up on Milan and in 4th place. Three points tomorrow would be very, very helpful, especially after the disappointing loss on Wednesday.

Really, I am sorry I don’t have more, but Easter Weekend is a busy one around my house. I’ll probably next be back Sunday evening with a recap of the weekend’s activities. Forza Viola and happy holidays to all.
