We are proud to unveil the newest site for Fans of Serie A team Fiorentina to congregate and speak out on all things Viola. ViolaNation is born!

Fiorentina are the soccer team for Florence, Italy and were originally formed in 1926. They are nicknamed La Viola (The Purple in English) for the color of their primary kits. This season has seen a renaissance for the squad as they have brought in a new Sporting Director, Daniele Prade, a new Coach, Vincenzo Montella and have completely renovated the squad, with only two or three starters remaining from last season.

Mike and I will be bringing you all the team news, match previews and reviews and everything Viola related, while you, the fans, will be able to contribute much more, as well.

It's a new day for Fiorentina and a new day for us as well.
