The team has shown an increased ability to finish lately so perhaps this is naturally sorting itself out, but I think the biggest hole on this team remains having a reliable finisher. Jovetic is the best here, but relying on him for the goals takes away from his complete game, not to mention he's currently injured.

As far as the supporting cast up front goes, I like them all but there's questions with all of them. Ljajic is having his best season yet, his overall game has become very nice and he has chemistry with Jo-Jo...but he can't finish. Toni has more left in the tank than I thought, he's not the Toni of old but is doing a nice imitation of that Toni, and even showed he can last all 90 minutes if he has to...still, between his age and overall game lacking, I still like him more as an impact sub. El Ham has shown promise, but until he gains some stamina he's not going to be anything more than another impact sub. Mati can also play up front, but he's not a CF and similar to Ljajic in that role...except with better finishing.


So what do you guys think...do we need to buy a CF this winter? Should we trust what we have until the summer when more options will be available? Do we look into a loan or another cheap short term option for now?
